A meeting of the Farmers' Club was held on Wednesday evening, Mr Pashby in the chair. It was reaoived, on the motion of Mr Wilson, seconded by Mr Mulcock, to 'hold the show on Thursday, April Bth. The following gentlemen were appointed as managing committee : Messrs Pashby, Coup, Walls, Boss, Skevington, Beharrell, Parnham, McGregor, Stevenson, McMillan, Judson" Patterson, Bailey, Wilson, Young, Kidd, Perrin, Bobb, Mulcock, Dudley, Merrin. The catalogue, as revised, was ordered to be published in Saturday's "Weekly Press." It was resolved that the roots shown should not be granted a prize if improperly trimmed or washed. In the classes for butter it was agreed to make two classes, viz. for fresh

fcntter and powdered butter, the rolls to be shown without any distinguishing print on them. Judges were elected, and olass stewards appointed. On a subscription list about £lO was subscribed. It was deoided that entries be received to April 3rd. Messrs Pashby, Coup and Wilson, were appointed a subcommittee to arrange for a place _for holding the show, and carrying out minor arrangements.
