AGRICULTURAL STATISTICS.
The “ Gazette ” of March 4th contains the results of the recent examinations of the crops in the counties of Ashley, Akaroa, Selwyn, and Ashburton, together with the estimated yield in those districts for last year. We have compiled the following table from the above source, from which will be seen at a glance the increase that has taken place In the various counties. The returns from the Geraldine and Waimate counties have not yet been published.
