The barque Star of India, from Newcastle, brigantine Flirt, from Timarn, and the schooner Clio, from Waitapu, arrived this morning. The brigantine Annie Hill, Captain McKay, entered out at Dunedin for here on Monday last with 200 tons of stone for tbe graving dock. The barque Thurso, Captain Raddon, arrived at Newcastle hence on February 20th. The s.s. Wellington, Captain Anderson, arrived yesterday morning from Wellington, and left again in the afternoon for Dnnedin via Akaroa. The s 3. Grafton, Captain Johnson, left yesterday for Wellington and West Coast. The Union Company’!- s.s. Arawata, Captain Sinclair, arrived yesterday morning at 8 a.m. from Melbourne via Bluff and Port Chalmers. She left the l-.tter port at 4 p.m., and experienced fine weather along the coast. She left again for Auckland via East Coast and Wellington yesterday afternoon. The barquentine Prince Alfred, Captain Schenckel, left for Kaipara yesterday. H.M.S. Cormorant sailed for Auckland at 4 p.m. yesterday, steaming direct out from her moorings into tbe bay at low water without tbe least difficulty. The barque Especulador, and the schooners Elizabeth Curie and Onward, and ketch Lucy James, now in port, are advertised for sale by tender by Mr F. Jenkins. The John Knox sailed from Sydney for here on February 23rd The Magellan left Newcastle for here on February 22nd. The Pearl, hence at Newcastle, sailed for Singapore on February 23rd. PORT OF SUMNER.
