BIBLE CHRISTIAN CHURCH.

A meeting of the above was held in Mr Gee's schoolroom on Wednesday evening, March 3rd. The Rev. J. Orewes, who has recently arrived from England, presided, and Mr J. W. R.-ed was unanimously elected secretary, A resolution, expressive of the intention of the Church to co-oporate heartily with the trustees, who are arranging to build a commodious church at the corner of Ferry road and Wilson street, was very cordially passed. A committee of ladies was formed to make arrangements for a bazaar, to be held as soon as practicable, in aid of the church building fund. Several books were handed to members of the meeting, who promised to collect towards tho above object. Another commitlee was formed to arrange for the annual public meeting on Good Friday. Most of the members of the Church were present, and the spirit manifested augurs success for the church building effort.
