ODDFELLOWSHIP.
A summoned meeting of the Loyal Doyleston Lodge was held on Tuesday evening last in the Town Hall, Doyleston, to receive balance sheet and auditors' report for 1879, also to receive and select plans, &s., for building a hall; but owing to Pastor Ohiniquy’s lecture being on the same evening there was a very poor attendance—only a dozen brothers being present. After inspecting the plans it was decided to accept Bro. W. Pentelow’s. The following brothers were then elected as a building committee—Grand Master R. Dickie, P. G.’s W. Johnstone, Christenson, S. C. Doyle, J. McVinnie, N.Q. T. Reader, and Bros. Glaasou and Barrett. It was decided that the first meeting of the committee be held on Saturday, 14th instant, after which the lodge closed in due form.
