Arrived—February 4. Southern Queen, ketch, 18 tons. Shepherd, with limestone, from Amnri. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. Auckland. Fohmary 4. Sailed —Wellington, for the South. Passengers, for Lyttelton—Messrs Brett and Felton. The Loch Urr and British Empire have arrived from London, The British Empire has been placed in quarantine. Thera have been during the voyage thirty-six cases of measles and eighty cases of scarlet fever. Three deaths from the latter, two children and one adult, a man named Yotchone, occurred, A case broke out to-day. Later. Thera have been eight deaths on board the British Empire. When reported clean, she will load for Lyttelton. Wellington, February 4. Arrived—Taiaroa, from the South. Sailed—Waitaki, for the South. Timabu, February 4. Arrived—Prince Eupert, ketch, and Atalanta, schooner, from Lyttelton. Sailed —Tauranga, schooner, for Ihinedin. Dunedin. February 4. Arrived —Eingarooma, from the Bluff; Tarart,a, steamer, from Auckland. Port Chalmers, February 5. Arrived—Tauranga, from Timam. New Plymouth, February 5. The s.a. Wellington arrived early this morning, and sailed for Nelson and Southern ports at 10.30 am. Passengers for South —Mias Watkin, Miss Richmond, Mrs Taite, Master Watkins, Messrs South, Johns, Watson, Shark. Mr Syme of Melbourne, and Mr Bennett, of the “Sydney News,’’ and Mr Brett, of the “ Auckland Star,” are passengers by the steamer for Wellington.
