CHRISTCHURCH. Thusbdat, Jantjaht 29. [Before Joseph Beswick, Esq., R.M.j Labcent. —Frederick Sanberg was charged with larceny as a servant of groceries from a shop, the property of Henry B. Sorenson. On the application of Mr Inspector Hickson, the accused was remanded until February 2nd. False Pebtkkceb. —Alexander Weiber was charged on a warrant from Wellington with obtaining the sum of £3 17a 61 by false pretences from Thomas Moyers. The prisoner was remanded to Wellington.
