MAGISTRATES’ COURTS.
CHRISTCHURCH. Feiday, Deokmbbb 11. [Before G. L. Meilish, Esq., E.M.I Vagbahcy.— Ellen Thompson, Margaret Maloney, and Thomas Burns were charged, under the Vagrant Act, with having no lawful visible means of support, and Joseph Busby was charged with being found in the house occupied by them, without sufficient excuse. After hearing the evidence of three witnesses and Const Able Bricks, the four prisoners were cautioned and discharged. Receiving Stolen Goods. Robert Painter was charged with receiving stolen goods, knowing them to be stolen. Remanded until the 18th inst.
