MAGISTRATES’ COURTS.
CHBISTOHIJROH. Satubday, Novembee 29th. Q. L. Mellish, Esq., R.M.] Dbunk akd Disobdbbly. —Francis Turner charged with drunkenness, resisting Constable Crockett in the execution of his duty, and wilfully destroying his uniform, was fined 5s on the first charge, with 10s for hiro of cab to take him to the lock-up, 20s for the second offence, and ordered to pay 15s for the damage to the uniform. Indecent Assault. Alber Pinkstons, charged with indecently r saulting two little girls under the age of twelve years, was on the application of Mr Inspector Hickson, remanded until Monday mornirg. The Inspector stated that a series of assaults of this nature had been going on during the past week, and he thought that in a few day’a time he should be able to trace them to the prisoner.
