Obscene Language,—Margaret Bowen w as charged with using obscene language in O »lombo street. The offence /was admitted, and a fine of 20s imposed. Labcent. —Kathleen Fowler was charged with stealing a brooch, value £B, the property of Alice Mulomby, at Wellington. The prisoner was remanded to Wellington until the 29th inst.
Tbanbfkb of License. John Baylee applied to bare the license of the Boyal Hotel, Oxford terrace, transferred from Charles Dunford to himself. The spphoa* Hon was granted.
