SYDNEY, November 18. Foundering of the Lillian. The schooner Lillian foundered at Newcastle in a gale. The crow wore saved. The Sea Spray Captured by Natives The Ocean, at Cooktown, from Hong Kong, reports the Sea Spray as captured by tbe natives of tbe Ranic islands. The crow were massacred. Tho Ocean has a heavy Eastern cargo. The Natabadgeiy Bushrangers. Tho sixth bushranger has been captured. Ho was found concealed in a bouse close to tbo scene of tbe encounter. It was a terrible encounter between the bushrangers and ten constables who attacked them in their stronghold. Tbo robbers refused to surrender, and replied with a volley. One bushranger was then shot dead, and the remainder retreated, but after half an hour’s shooting another bushranger was shot, and Sergeant Bowen was mortally wounded. Three were captured, including Captain Moonlight. One escaped. The gang was organised in Victoria, and consisted of throe men and three lads. One lad was killed, one wounded, and tho other captured after a groat chase. They came into the district with tho intention of robbing the Gundagai Banks. Moonlight was wounded in tbo Now Zealand war.
