Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the fol lowing places (subject to necessary alterations) as under : THURSDAY, NOV. 20. For Otago, per Wellington, at 11.15 a.m.; lato fee letters, 11,25 a.m,; guard’s van, 12.10 p.m. train. For Northern ports of New Zealand, per Eingarooma, at 3 p.m.; late fee letters, 3.20 p.m.; guard’s van, 4 p.m. train. FRIDAY, NOV. 21. For the United Kingdom, Continent of Europe via Brindisi and Southampton (for correspondence addressed per either of these routes only), India, China, Mediterranean Ports, Australian Colonies, Otago, &0., per express train, to connect with s.s. Arawata, at the Bluff, at 7.30 a.m. The mail via Brindisi will be due in T-iOndon on the 12th of January, 1880. and the mail via Southampton on I9th January, 1880. SYDNEY J. DICK, Chief Postmaster.
