Jane Douglas arrived last night from Kaikonra, and will leave on the return trip tonight. The s.s. Huia arrived last night from Kaikonra, trcturn to-night. The s.s. Arawata arrived this morning from Wellington, and loaves to-day for Melbourne, via South, The Spray, from Picton; the Zior, from Foxton ; and the Darcy Pratt, from Greymouth, arrived this morning. The late southerly winds which have prevailed along the coast were fully expected to have brought in one or two of the ships now duo from England. There was nothing, however, to be seen of any large vessels between hero and Port Chalmers yesterday, so Captain Edie of the Waitaki reported.
