POST OFFICE NOTICES.
Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places (subject to necessary alterations) as under:— SATUEDAT, NOV. 15. For Northern ports of Now Zealand, per Penguin, at 7 p.m.; guard’s van must not he used for Penguin’s mails. MONDAY, NOV. 17. For Otago, per Hawea, at 11.30 a.m.; late fee letters, 11.45 a.m ; guard’s van, 12.10 p.m. train. The next mails for the United Kingdom, &c„ via Brindisi and Southampton (for correspondence addressed by either of those routes only), will he closed at Christchurch on November 19th. The mail via Brindisi will be dne in London on tho 12th of Jmuary, 1880, and the mail via Southampton on 19th January, 1880. SYDNEY J. DICK. Chief Postmaster.
