GREENDALE BAPTIST CHURCH.

The anniversary services of this church were conducted on last Sunday, when the Rev. T. Harrington preached to two large congregations. A tea and public meeting were held on Monday evening. More than 200 sat down to tea, which was provided by Mesdames Story, Bidgen, and Adams. At the public meeting the chair was taken by the Rev. T. W. Smyth, pastor of the church, and despite the unfavorable weather the church was filled to overflowing. The Revs. Hauxwell (Presbyterian), DaUaston, and Harrington, and Messrs Bawle and Fittall addressed the meeting. Daring the evening, several of Sankey’s Hymns were sung by the choir, Miss Patterson presiding at the harmonium. The meeting, which was a successful one, was brought to a close by the pastor pronouncing the benediction.
