KAIAPOI CRICKET CLUB.

A meeting of this club was held at the president's office on Monday evening. Seven members were present, Mr Wright in the chair. The Seltan Club challenge was accepted for November 15th, Papanui for November 22nd, and Oust for November 29th. It was decided to join the Ashley County Cricket Association, and Mr Wright was appointed as the club delegate. Four new members were elected. Sundry accounts were passed. It was decided that the secretary write to the Bichmond and Avonside Clubs to arrange for whole, instead of half day matches. It was decided that Mescrs Wright and Mtrrin wait on Mr Wearing, Kakanui Hotel, in reference to the paddock, and that the president see Mr Hurse in reference to his paddock. _ A discussion took place in reference to awarding two prizes offered for bowling and batting during the season, which it was ordered should be more fully considered at next meeting. The club then adjourned.
