WESLEYAN HOME MISSIONS.
The annual meeting at Colombo road was held last night. There was a crowded attendance. The Bev. J. S. Smalley occupied the chair, and commenced the meeting by calling on the congregation to sing a hymn. The Rev. W. Beck offered prayer. The local treasurer stated that last year the Colombo road circuit contributed £35 14* 6d. The general committee reported a debt of £6OO at the last conference. That circuit was asked for £l7 10s towards the debt, and £4O as the ordinary contribution this year. Towards these amounts £37 10j had been received, leaving £2O to be collected, which it was hoped would be obtained that night. Addresses were delivered by the Bevs. W. Beok, A. Beid, and TeKoti, Maori minister. A collection was made amounting to £lO lis 4Jd. The choir, under the leadership of Mr George D<ry, sang some anthems in excellent style .at intervals during tbe evening.
