The former leaves for Melbourne, via South, and the latter for Nelson and West Coast. The brig Emily, for Newcastle, sailed this morning. The s.s. Southern Cross was to leave for Auckland, via Wellington and East Coast, this afternoon. . . The s.s. Southern Cross arrived from Wellington, East Coast ports, and Auckland yesterday, having loft the first-named port on Friday at 1.30 x>*niSho is to sail North to-day. The Isabella Anderson for Onmarn left yesterday, and subsequently put hack for ballast. The brigantine Sea Bird, Captain Smith, arrived yesterday from Havelock, timber laden. Northerly weather prevailed along the coast since leaving there on Saturday last. The s.s. Arawata is to sail to-day for Melbourne via South, and the s.s, Maori for Nelson and West The Elizabeth commenced to discharge her cargo of coals yesterday at No. 3.
