It is a very true saying, “ If every man would sweep his own door the town would be clean,” equally true and more to the point that “ Economy begins at home,” and_ following close upon the heels of these sayings comes the natural deduction that were these things truly followed out the salvation of the country, as regards freedom from bad trade, would be ensured.
