[retjtee’s telegrams.] SYDNEY, September 29. THE EXHIBITION. Sixteen thousand people visited the Exhibition on Saturday, -when the price of admission was reduced to Is. BRISBANE, September 29. A SINGULAR CASE. Summonses have been issued against the “ Courier” and other Queensland newspapers, for neglecting to keep their names printed over their doors, according to the laws. The penalties, which is cumulative, now amounts to £865. The informer is Mr Hill, member of the Legislative Assembly. MELBOURNE, September 27. L. Stevenson and Sons, of Melbourne, have arranged to continue business. Sailed—Rotomahana, for Dunedin.
