LONDON, September 26. Nows from the Cape Town states that Sir Garnet Wblsoly had arrived at Utrecht, where numerous bodies of the Zulu forces and a number of Zulu chiefs had surrendered themselves. CENTRAL ASIA. The Russian Press declares that the expedition against the Turcomans will abstain from occupying Merv. LONDON, September 27. Three per cent consols are at 97a. The total reserve in coin and bullion in the Bank of England is £22,375,000, At the wool sales to-day 6900 hales were catalogued. Inferior sorts were neglected. The sales closed with 290,000 bales sold, 39,000 held over, and 175,000 exported. YIENNA, September 26. Prince Bismarck, in an interview with the French Ambassador, said that the friendship between Germany and Austria ought not to disquiet Prance. He believed the relations between Germany and France would become daily closer, as Germany wishes henceforth to live in peace.
