LYTTELTON BOROUGH COUNCIL NOMINATIONS.
The following nominations for the three vacancies in the Lyttelton Borough Council were made at noon to-day in the order named :—Messrs B. Wevburno, J. Grubb, S. R. Webb, W. Holmes, j. Higgs, and J. W. Smith. The retiring councillors are Messrs A. Chalmers, T. A. W. Parsons, and B. Weyburne, the last-named gentleman being the only one of the three nominated for reelection. The election is to be held on the 11th inst.
