THE WOOL SALES. The new series of colonial wool auctions was opened to-day. The quantity catalogued was 9300 bales. There was a fair demand. The total quantity catalogued was 340,000 hales. Low crossbreds are in favour of buyers. VIENNA, August 12. It is rumored that Count Andrassy will retire into private life. Count Hoffmann, Finance Minister, is spoken of as his successor.
