Mr Forrester will introduce a Bill in the House of Commons to enable Agents-General to sit in the Imperial Parliament. Mr Simonius, Commissioner of the Panama Canal, stated at the Paris Congress that tho canal would save 9000 miles of sea voyage between European ports and the Pacific Coast, and between New York and Australia the passage would be reduced by 3000 miles.
