A fund will be started in tbo army for the purpose of raising a memorial in memory of the late Prince Imperial. THE KHEDIVE. The Khedive has started for Naples. LONDON, Juno 30, Lord Lawrence is dead. An advance has been made in force into Zululand. As yet it has met with no opposition. The remains of the late Prince Imperial are being conveyed to England. [beuteb’s telegrams.] AN IRISH CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY LONDON, June 30, In the House of Lords to-day the Lord Chancellor introduced a Bill as a Government measure to supersede one brought in by the Irish members in the House of Commons, to establish a Catholic University in Ireland similar to the London University, with power to grant degrees and receive the endowments of the Queen’s University. The latter, if the measure was cax-ried, would be virtually suppressed. LONDON, June 29. Advices from Capo Town to Juno 10th state that General Newdegate advanced to the Selfe river, and has taken up an entrenched position. Major - General Orealock crossed the river Umbalasi, and established a* base of operations with Fort Dumford. A fresh attempt by the Colonial troops to take Moirisi’s stronghold was unsuccessful. Juno 30. The homeward mail, via Brindisi, was delivered in London on the 28th. Three per cent. Consols, 97-f. The total quantity of wheat afloat for Great Britain is 1,240,000 quarters, CAIRO, July 1. In compliance with a request from the great powers, the Ex-Khodivo, Ishmaol Pasha, and Princes Hussein and Hassan, his second and third sons, left Egypt today, and have gone to Naples.
