POST OFFICE NOTICES.

Malle close at the Chief Poet Office for the tallowing places as under, subject to the necessary alterations MONDAY, JUNE 30. For Northern Ports, per Wanaka, at 1.50 -p.m.; late fee letters, 2.10 p.m.; guard’s van, 2.-10 p.m. train. For Northern ports, per Wellington, at 4.45 p.m. The late letter box, guard’s van, must not he used for this mail. TUESDAY, JULY 1. Mails per Arawata will he closed as under : —• For Otago and Australian Colonies, the United Kingdom, via Brindisi and Southampton (for specially addressed letters only), Continent of Europe, India, Egypt, South Africa, &c., Ordinary letters, at 1 p.m. Late fee letters, at 2 p.m. Registered letters, at 12 noon. Books and newspapers, at 12 noon. Money orders, nt 11 a.m. Guard’s van, 2.40 p.m. train. The mail via Brindisi will be due in London on August 25th, and tho mail via Southampton on September Ist, The next mail for the United Kingdom via San Francisco will be closed at Christchurch on July IBth, and will be due in London on September 2nd. NOTICE.
