The following further items of intelligence wore received per Suez mail: — News from Bombay to tho 23rd May states that in consequence of tho Dacoit disturbances, tho police have been supplemented by a military force, consisting of 800 infantry and 200 cavalry, who are scouring the country. A party of tho military and police encountered a number of Dacoits on May 17th, who wero completely routed, aud several killed. It is believed that the Dacoits do not exceed more than a few hundreds.
