IMPORTANT JUDICIAL DECISION.

[Press Special Wire.] WELLINGTON, May 30. The full Court of Judges have just delivered judgment in tho case of Gleich, the defaulting Adelaide bankrupt. Tho Chief Justice gave it as his opinion_ that the legislature had not tho power claimed under the Act, that the warrant was bad, and the prisoner was entitled to be discharged. Judges Johnston, Richmond, and Williams concurred. Judge Gillies took an opposite view, though with diffidence. Gleich was released to-night, and the sixteen diamond rings found on him wifi be returned, but it is probable the point raised, being of colonial importance, will be brought before the Imperial Legislature to decide.
