THE KOPUA MEETING.
TBy Telegbaph.] ALEXANDRA, May 14. The Natives from distant places are rapidly disappearing homeward. To Kooti's peoplo have gone with To Kooti. Ono portion of yesterday's proceedings was omitted. When To Ngakau heard the list of persons of his own tribe, who sold and leased large blocks of confiscated land which tho Government had restored to them, read, he said, turning to his own people—You havo plucked out my heart's blood, and lam done with. You can go your own ways. Eewi said—l havo nothing to do with To Ngakau. I look after my own affairs. Eewi is very annoyed becauao tho Waikato Kingites sold their lands while living on his, and conniving at tho sale of large blocks of it. Tho Kingites are broken up, and Tawhiao says he has been wrecked by trusting the guidance of his cau?e to his advisers. To-day Rewi, VVahanui, To Patera, Tainui, and 150 followers were present, holding a private conference. Rewi has written to Mr Shcohan not to leave Alexandra, as ho had not yet finished his conversation with him. To-morrow tho result of tho Ngatimaniopoto conference will bo communicated to the Kingites.
