Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places os under, subject to the necessary alterations SATURDAY, APRIL 19. KjFor Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Ladybird, at 8 p.m. Late letter box guard’s van must not bo used for tins mail. MONDAY, APRIL 21. For Otago and Australian Colonies, per Albion, at 1.50 p.m.; late fee letters, 2.10 p.m.; guard’s van, 2.-tO p.m. train. For Kaikonra and Northern Ports, per Jane Douglas, at 1.50 p.m,; late fee letters, 2.10 p.m.; late letter box, guard’s van, 2.40 p.m. train. For Kaikonra and Northern Ports, per Hnia, at 4.45 p.m.; late letter box, guard’s van must not bo used for this mail TUESDAY, APRIL 22. For Australian Colonies, per Express train to Port Chalmers, at 7.30 a.m. THURSDAY, APRIL 24. For Northern Ports and Australian Colonies, per Rotorua. The next mail for the United Kingdom via San Francisco will be closed at Christchurch on April 25th, aad will bo due in London on June 10th. Tho next mails for the United Kingdom, via Brindisi and Southampton will ho closed at Christchurch on May sth.
