POST OFFICE NOTICES
Mails close afc the Chief Post Office for the following places as under, subject to the necessary alterations
SATURDAY, APRIL 19,
For Otago, per Wanaka. For Northern Ports of Now Zealand, per Ladybird, at 6.30 p.m, Late-letter box guard’s van mast not be used for this mail. MONDAY, APRIL 21.
For Otago and Australian Colonies, per Albion, at 1.50 p.m.; late fee letters, 2.10 p.m.; guard’s van, 2.10 p.m. train. TUESDAY, APRIL 22.
For Australian Colonies, per Express train to Port Cbalmers, at 7.30 a.m. THURSDAY, APRIL 24.
For Northern Ports and Australian Colonies, per Rotorua.
The next mail for the United Kingdom via San Francisco will be closed at Christchurch on April 25th, and will be dno in Loudon on Jnue 10th. The next mails for the United Kingdom, via Brindisi and Sonthampton will bo closed at Christchurch on May sth. The mail via Brindisi will be duo in Loudon on Jnue 30th, and the mail via Southampton on July 7th. SYDNEY J. DICK, Chief Postmaster.
