Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places os under, subject to the necessary Rite rations TUESDAY, APEIL 15. For Otago and Australian Colonies, per Hingarooma, at 4.45 p.m.; late fee letter box, guard’s van, must not bo used for this mail. WEDNESDAY, APEIL 16. For Northern Ports, per Albion, at 1.50 p.m,; late fee letters, 2.10 p.m.; late letter box, guard’s ▼an, 2.40 p.m. train. TIIUESDAY, APEIL 17. For Northern Ports, per Wanganui, at 3.15 p.m.; late feo letters, 3.30 p.m.; guard’s van, 4 p.m. train. The next mail for the United Kingdom via San Francisco will be closed at Christchurch on April 25th, and will bo duo in London on Jnno 10th. The next mails for the United Kingdom, via Brindisi and Southampton will be closed at Christchurch on May sth. The mail via Brindisi will bo due in London on Jnno 30th, and the mail via Southampton on July 7th, SYDNEY J. DICK, Chief Postmaster.
