PORT OF LYTTELTON Weather Report—April 9, 9 a.m.—Weather, overcast; wind, N.E, light. Barometer, 30.50; thermometer, 55. Hit'll Water—To-morrow. Morning, 6.50; evening, 7.23. Arrived - April 9. Aratapn, brigantine, 122 tons, Smith, from Kaipara. Muster, agent. Passenger—Mrs Smith, The biigantine Aratapn arrived this morning from Kaipara with a cargo of timber, after a passage of seven days. The fine brigantine Ada C. Owen, arrived yesterday morning from Thames. She left there March 30th, had S.W, winds to the East Cape, thence to within fifteen miles of Lyttelton heads, northerly winds. She here onconntjrod the S.W. gale of Friday night, and was from that time to yesterday morning making the harbor. The brigantine Akbar was berthed at the Screw Pile jetty yesterday, and commenced to load.
