MuHh olobo at the Chief Post Office for the following places as under, subject to the necessary alterations WEDNESDAY, APRIL 2. For Australian Colonies, per express train to Port Chalmers, at 7.30 a.m. For Northern ports of New Zealand, per Arawata, at 1.50 p.m.; late letters, 2.10 p.m.; late letter box, guard’s van, 2.40 p.m. train. For Otago, perWakatipn, at 1,50 p.m.; late fee letters, 2.10 p.m.; late letter box, guard’s van, 2.40 p.m. train. For Kaikoura and Northern ports of New Zealand, per Huia, at 4.45 p.m.; late letter box, guard’s van, must not bo used for this mail. For Nelson and Westport, per Star of the South, at 1.50 p.m.; late fee letters, 2.10 p.m. ; late letter box, guard’s van, 2.40 p.m, train. The next mails for the United Kingdom via Brindisi and Southampton (specially addressed letters only), will bo closed at Christchurch on April 7tb, The mail via Brindisi will bo due in London on June 2nd, and the mail via Southampton on June 9th. The next mail for the United Klndom via Snn Francisco will bo closed at Christchurch on April °sth. and will bo due in Loudon on June 10th. SYDNEY J. DICK, Chief Postmaster.
