|PER PRESS AGENCY.] Auckland, March 28. A fire broke out last night at Lillydale, near One Tree Hill, which destroyed a stack of hay valued at iMO. The Mr Green, was partly insured. For the most part of this week tho Eesident Magistrate's Court has been occupied in hearing the charge of conspiracy brought by Eenata Kawepo against George Prior Donnelly and Joseph Price, in relation to the sale of the racehorses Otupai and Tawera. The gist of the charge is that Donnelly and Price conspired to run the horses up by fictitious bids, and induced Eenata to buy at a fictitious sale. The case for tho prosecution closed to-day, and the magistrate was about to commit the defendants for trial, when counsel for tho defence said he would call witnesses The case was therefore remanded till Mond.iy.
