Malls close at the Chief Post Office for the (allowing places as under, subject to the neoosnary alterations j SATURDAY, MARCH 29. For the United Kingdom, via San Francisco, America, Europe, Northern Ports of New Zealand, &c., per Ladybird, at 1 p m.; late fee letters, at 2 p.m.; guard’s van, railway station, 2.40 p.m, train. Registered letters, books, and newspapers at noon. Money orders, at 11 a.tn. This mail will be due in London on May 13th. MONDAY, MARCH 31, For Akoroa, Otago and Australian Colonies, per Wanaka, at 1.50 p.m.; late letters, 2.10 p.m.; late letter box, guard’s van, 2 40 p.m. train. For Northern Ports of New Zealand and Australian Colonies, per Gland Hamilton, at 3.15 p.m.; late fee letters, 3.30 p.m.; late letter box, guard's van, 4 p.m. train. The next mails for the United Kingdom via Brindisi and Southampton will bo closed at Christchurch on April 7th.
