She met with easterly weather to Cape Campbell, where a southerly gale was encountered. The wind then veered to the north east, moderate, afterwards south-east, light. The Viudex was still waiting a chance to go on the slip to be cleaned when the Swallow left. ... ... The s.s. Tararna, Captain Sinclair, arrived at noon yesterday from Sydney via Auckland and East Coast ports. She left Sydney on the 15th inst., and experienced strong head winds and sea across, arriving at Auckland, M arch 21st. Left Auckland the following day, and called at Tanranga, Gisborne, Napier, and Wellington, meeting with flue weather along the coast.
