Pinfire, Bst 71b ... 1 Lady Elizabeth, 6st 41b 2 Lara, Bst 3 Six started. Sinking Fund was scratched. There was a magnificent race between Pinfire and Lady Elizabeth. Lara made the running for a mile and a half, Ika close up. At the turn for home Pinfire came up. and was immediately challenged by Lady Elizabeth, and the pair came up the straight close together. A splendid race ensued, Pinfire getting his head in front in the last few strides, and winning by a neck.
