A full meeting of the executive committee was held last evening, when the protest against Marshall’s score was fully discus ed Evidence was heard on each side. After careful consideration, it was decided to disallow the last two shots. This reduced from 72 to 06, thus throwing him out of the match. In consequence of this the other winners all advanced a step, and Grossman, of Nelson, comes in winner of the last pr ze. The decision of the committee has giveu general The concert in the dining tent was kept up till halfpast ten. Several good songs were sung, there being some excellent singers amongst the Volunteers.

The eleventh match was continued after dinner, but the rain sadly marred the comfort of the competitors for some time. It continued off and on till 4 p.m., and is now raining. The rain continued at intervals during the night and early morning, but owing to the stony nature of the ground did not lie long, and little or no iincoii • enience was experienced in the camp. The shooting, however, was delayed a little to let the graps dry. The fifteenth match began about 10 30, and is now going on. Several men have finished the two bund ed yards range, and some hot shooting has been made. Okey, Taranaki, scored seven consec tive bulls eyes. There are three or four of 27 each, several of 26, and many more with 25. The weather is clearing and the sun breaking out.
