The day after the last report millers reduced flour 20s per ton in consequence of the arrival of a carco from Adelaide, which has srouo into store. We quote—Adelaide. £l3 to £l3 10s; Southern best brands, £lO to £lO 10s: seconds. £8 to £9 10s; local mills sell at £lO to £l3; bran, £G 9s to £6 10s; pollard. £6 5s to £6 15s; wheat, 4s Gd; fowl. 3s 9d to 4s Id; maize, 5s 3d to 5s 61; oats, old, 3s 9d to 4sGd ; new, 3s 6d; hams and bacon in fjoocl demand, prices firm—in cloth. B>d; hare, 7sd ; butter enquired for, Is to Is Id; cheese, Sid to 9d ; potatoes, £5 19s; baulk timber, 6s 9d. We anticipate a better supply, as we are now having steady rain. _________
