Ballinger, Wellington, 69; Paynter, 69 ; Jack, Dunedin, 68; Rogers, Blenheim, 66 ; Smith, Dumdin, 66; Miller, Dunedin, 66; Bowden, Auckland, 66; Mills, Dunedin, 66; Monk, Wellington, 66; Davis, Hokitika, 65; Ross, Napier, 65; Acheson, Riverton. 64 ; Prouse, senr , Wellington, 64; Martelli, Picton, 64; Leigh, Auckland, 63. The average shooting was very good. The second and third match were commenced after dinner by those who had completed the first match, the highest scores being in the second match :—Burns, Nelson, 36; W. Dunedin, 33 ; Moore, Auckland, 33. The fifth and sixth matches are now going on. Weather very fine and calm. Excellent shooting is being made. They are just ceasing firing for dinner.
