LYTTELTON. Wednesday, February 28. [Before Drs. Donald and Bouse, and H. Allwright, Esq., J.P.s] Drunkenness. —W. Johnston and MacDonald were presented under this head, and were ordered to pay os each with the usual alternative. Street Pugilism. —W. Willmott and Thomas .Farr received three days each, with hard labor, for fighting in the street on the 25th inst. Juveniles’ Squabble. —Two boys named respectively R. Cooper and J. Croker occupied the Court for a considerable time relating how the former struck Croker three times in the eye. The Bench dismissed the case. Bad Language. —Elizabeth Treherne was ordered to find sureties of £SO and two others of £25 each to keep the peace for six mouths towards all her Majesty’s liege subjects, and Lewis Marlin in particular. Mr Joyce appeared for complainant. Costs and counsel’s fee were allowed. Civil. —Poore v Collier, claim £lO, money lent; judgment by default, costs Bs.
