Mails close at the Chief Post Office tor ttu following places as under, subject to the neoessarj alterations TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 18. For Otago and Australian Colonies, per Ringarooma, at 1.50 p.m.; late fee letters. 2.10 p.m. ; late letter box, guard’s van, 2.40 p.m. train. For Northern Ports, per Hiuomoa. WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 19. For Northern Ports, per Albion. The next mail for the United Kingdom via San Francisco Will be closed at Christchurch on Saturday, March Ist, and will bo duo in London on April 15th. The next mails for United Kingdom via Brindisi and Southampton will be closed at Christchurch on March 12th. The mail via Brindisi will be due in London on May sth, and the mail via Southampton on May 12th. SYDNEY J, DICK, Chief Postmaster.
