Moils close at the Chief Post Office for the following places as under, subject to tho necessary alterations: — SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 15, For Akaron and Otago, per Wanuka, at 1.50 p.m.; late fee letters, 2,10 p.m.; late letter box, guard’s van, 2.40 ji.m. train. For Northern Ports of Now Zealand, per Hawea, at 6.30 p.m.; late letter box, guard’s van, mnst not be used for this mail. For Wanganui, per St. Kilda, at 4.45 p.m.; late letter box, guard’s van, must not ho used for this mail. TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 18. For Otago and Australian Colonies, per Ringarooma. The mails for the United Kingdom via Brindisi and Southampton will he closed at Christchurch on March 12th. The mail via Brindisi will ho due in London on May sth, and the mail via Southampton on May 12th. The next mail for the United Kingdom via San Francisco, will be closed at Christchurch on Friday, February 28th, and will bo.due in London on April 15th. SYDNEY J. DICK, Chief Postmaster.
