POST OFFICE NOTICES.
Mails clone at the Chief Post Office for the following places as under, aabjeot to the necessary alterations THURSDAY, JANUARY 30. For Northern ports of New Zealand and Australian Colonies, per Rotorua, at 3.15 p.m.; late fee letters, 3.30 p.m.; late letter box, guard's van, 4 p.m. train. For Wanganui, per St. Killa, at 4.45 p.m. Late letter box, guard's van, must not be used for this mail. SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 1. For Akaroa and Otago, per Taupo, at 0.30 p.m. Late letter box, guard's van, must nut be used for this mail. For the United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, America, via San Francisco, Australian Colouies and Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Wauaka, at 1 p.m.. late fee lettert, 1.45 p.m. Books, newspapers, and registered letters, at noon. Money orders, at 11.30 a.m. Late letters, guard's van, 2.-10 p.m. train. The next mail for the United Kingdom via Southampton and Briudisi will close at Christchurch on February 12th.
