The Star, brigantine, cleared at the Customs this morning for Newcastle, the Maud Graham for Kaipara, and tho brigantine Annie for Hobart Town. Tne steamer Star of the South arrived on Sunday night from Greymonth, whence she left on Friday last at 11.30 a.m. Had fine weather and northerly winds along the Coast. She proceeded on her trip to Timaru, Oamaru, and Dunedin yesterday afternoon, at four o’clock. The schooner Clio, Captain Kirk, a r rived yesterday, with a cargo of timber from Waitapu, whence she left on Tuesday last with a strong S.W. wind, which carried her to Jackson's Head, thence light easterly winds to arrival. The schooner Herald arrived on Sunday night from Pelorus Sound. Reports fine weather and light changeable winds along the Const. The Elizabeth Curie, briga itine. Captain Johnson, from Picton, arrived at noon yesterday. She left on Friday, January 24th, and had northerly winds to arrival. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. Auckland, January 27. The schooner Sissy is chartered to load timber lor Lyttelton. The steamer Tararua, from Sydney, arrived at Russell this evening, six days from Sydney. Passengers for Lyttelton, per Tanpo, which ■ailed to-night:—Messrs Goldie and Stewart. Port Chalmers, January 27. Arrived—Western Monarch, from the Bluff; Nonpariel and Hong Kong, from Newcastle. The brigantine Ackbnr, from Newcastle to Lyttelton, passed the Heads this afternoon. Sailed—Restless, for Hokianga. Tho Euterpe sails to-morrow, having been delayed through want of hands. Seven passengers transhipped from tho Behington at Lyttelton, arrived in the Wanaka. Bluff, January 27. The Potorua arrived at 3.40 p.m. She left Melbourne at 230 p.m. on the 21st, Hobart Town at 830 p.m. on the 23rd, experienced thick weather to arrival. She sails at 6 p.m.for Dunedin.
