Mails olobo at the Chief Post Office for the following piaoos as under, subject to the necessary iltorationa : MONDAY, JANUAEY 27. For Otago and Australian eolouies, per Albion, at 1.50 p.m.; late fee letters, 2,10 p.m; late letter box, guard's van, 2.40 p.m. train. For Oamaru and Otago, per Star of the South, at H. 15 p.m.; late fee letters, 3.135 p.m.; late letter box, guard's van, 4 p.m. train. The next mail for the United Kingdom via San Francisco, will close at Christchureh on February Ist, aud will be dne in London on March 18th. The next mail for the United Kingdom via Southampton and Briudisi will close at Christchurch on February 12th. The mail via Briudisi will be due in London on April 7th, and the mail via Southampton on April 14th. NOTICE. A travelling Post Office having been established on the Southern line of railway, letters bearing a late fee of two pence may In; posted at any station in the mail carriage attached to the express train, and they will be included in the mails made up in transit for offices on the main line and branches.
