[eeutee's telegeams to the pbess AGENCY.] London, December 5. The Liberal leaders have decided to move no amendment to the address, but to introduce a motion censuring the policy of the Government, but not refusing supplies.
AUSTRALIAN.
[SPECIAL TO THE " GLOBE.] Sydney, December 6. The Chinese establishments are dilapidated after the riots. General indignation is expressed. Government hps been defeated by 41 against 22. Their resignation is expected immediately. The A.S N. Company's wharf is in a state of siege. It is feared that further outrages will take place. Trade is gradually resuming its normal state. Governor Robinson's family are leaving for England by the December mail. The Governor denies that he is going from Melbourne to New Zealand.
Unpleasantness has arisen by the cricketers having treated Bannerman in England as a professional.
NEW ZEALAND TELEGRAMS. [pee pbbss agency.] Wellington, December 6. Judges Johnston and Williams leave for Canterbuiy on Monday next. There were eighty immigrants nominated here on the 4th of the month.
It is expected that after the return of Messrs Macnudrew, Fisher, and Sheehan, the Attorney - General will proceed South and address his constituents.
At the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency's first sale of wool, the bidding was languid. Cross-bred greasy wool, of fair quality, fetshed from 8d to Sid.
At the preliminary inquiry held into the wreck of the Southminster, the captain said he was not certain as to the amount of insurance on the vessel, but he valued her at .£I2,CCO. It is not quite clear from the evidence what was the immediate cause of the wreck (eveiy care seems to have been taken), un'ess it is through the effect of a current setting the ship in shore during the foggy weather which prevailed.

Oamaeu, December 6
The Hon. J. Macannrew and the Hon. J. T. Fisher ai rived here last evening. The former was deputationised to-day by various public bodies on matters of local importance. Mr Fisher is unwell, and has been ordered by the doctor to remain here some days. Mr Macandrew goes Nor th to-day. Auckland, December 6.
A new two-storey house in Pitt street, owned by Captain Elliott, not quite finished, was burned down at five o'clock this morning. It was insured in the Colonial Insurance Company for .£4OO. The adjoining propeity was considerably damaged Messrs Coupland and Co. report—Flour, Adelaide, .£ls; Southern, .£'o to .£11; bran, .£6, bags included. Oats, 4s 6d to 4s 9d for milling. Wheat, 4s 9d ; fowl, do., 4s ; Canterbury hams and bacon in cloth, per lb.
Death of Sir J. Richardson. Dunedin, December 6-h, 3.31 p.m. Sir John Richardson died at thrca o'clock this afternoon, at the Imperial Hotel, of dropsy.
