THE LATE ROSE SHOW.
To the Editor of the Globe. Sir, — I shall feel greatly obliged if you would correct a mistake in your i«sue of last evening. I did not, nor ever intended to, show for Mr Murray-Aynsley’s prize. I lodged a protest against Mr Jackman, as I think the donor of the prize never intended that it should bo taken only by cottagers, and I do not consider either myself or Mr Jackman can claim to come within the meaning of the term ,f Cottagers”. Yours, &c., HENRY CROOKS. Christchurch, December sth, 1878.
