Mails olobo at the Chief Post Offloe for the following plaoes as under, subjeot to the necessary ■lterations : FEIDAY, DECEMBEE 6. For the United Kingdom, Europe, America, &c, via San Francisco, Australian colonies, and Northern ports of New Zealand, &c, per Eotorua, at 5 p.m. Late fee letters till 5.40 p.m. Money orders till 3 p.m. Registered letters till 4 p.m. Books and newspapers till 4 p.m. Railway van 6.20 p.m. special train. This mail is due in London on January 21st, 1879. SATUEDAY, DECEMBEE 7. For Northern ports and Australian colonies, per Tararua, at 11.30 a.m.; late fee letters, 11.50 a.m.; late letter box, guard's van, 12.10 p.m. train. For Northern ports, per Taupo. For the United Kingdom via Suez and Brindisi on Tuesday, December 17th. The mail via Southampton will be due in London on February 17th, and via Brindisi on February 10th, 1879. SYDNEY J.
